I was away at college when I got the news that my parents had adopted a FOURTH Pomeranian. My parents’ other three dogs were already running the household and I didn’t know how to react. However, my dad is a wicked softie and heard from a coworker at the high school where he works that a Pomeranian had been found walking the streets aimlessly. From the marks on his body, it looked like he had been abused. My dad contacted the person with the dog and offered to take it home. Today, Kit is a little old man dog. He is like a tiny person in a dog body because he looks right into your eyes when you pet him. He’s very smart and loving and never deserved to be treated the way he was. He has separation anxiety for what he went through, but he still remains a sweet, little soul.
