Straight Offtha Streets began its mission in 2019, just before the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. Currently, animal shelters across the nation are full, and rescues are at capacity. This website is a collection of user-submitted stories that aim to raise awareness about animal homelessness and promote pet adoption as a positive solution. So many inspiring stories unfold when animals find a forever home. Reading about others’ experiences with adoption creates emotional connections and fosters self-awareness. By sharing these inspiring stories, we hope to spread the word about just how life-changing adoption can be for both the animal and their awesome humans!
